Arctic Graylng

From our home base in Two Rivers, just outside of Fairbanks, we fish the world renowned Chena River for Arctic Grayling. This spring fed river is home to the only road accessible Grayling fishery in North America.

The Arctic Grayling is one of the most popular as well as unique sport fish in the Interior. The huge dorsal fin makes it a spectacular fighter and hard hitter on small spinners and is a definite favorite of fly fisherman. Let your guide drift you down one of the most pristine, clear water grayling streams through the Chena River State Recreation area, which is the second largest state park in Alaska totaling 397 square miles of some of the most scenic country you will ever experience. Half day and full day floats are available.

Fly Fishing or Spin Casting

Drifting down this pristine, clear water river with its pools and runs make it ideal for fly fishing or spin casting for some of the hardest fighting, fast action fishing there is to offer. The catch and release fishery has not only kept the fish numbers constant, but actually increased the numbers over the years. Relax and enjoy the first class accommodations after an exciting day of action packed fishing! This will be a trip never to be forgotten!

Combinations

If you are not completely exhausted after a day of pulling in Silvers, you can start the day or end the day with the greatest duck hunting around. Yakutat is a natural flyway for migrating ducks and geese. The area is filled with tidal pools and rivers providing ideal hunting.
